Yuba Volleyball wins first league game

Kelijo Boney had nine kills and five digs, Taylor Thompson had 20 assists and four kills and the Yuba College volleyball team rolled visiting Laney 25-13, 25-22, 25-20 on Friday.
Hailey Harris tallied seven kills, two digs and two blocks in the Bay Valley Conference win for the 49ers (4-5, 1-1).
Up next for the 49ers is a home game on Monday against Los Medanos to make up a prior missed date.
Last season, Los Medanos finished third in the BVC and was only one of three teams, including the champion 49ers, to finish with a winning record.
