Yuba College volleyball nicked by Napa

The Yuba College volleyball team opened up Bay Valley Conference play on the road Wednesday, the result was much to the chagrin of coach Greg Chapman.
The Lady 49ers fell 25-16, 25-15, 26-24 to Napa Valley.
Kelijo Boney led the team with eight kills and five digs, while Alisha Benge added seven kills and three digs.
Taylor Thompson led the squad with 19 assists. She also recorded four digs, while Hailey Harris chipped in a couple of kills, blocks and five digs.
Yuba College (3-5, 0-1) will host Laney College on Friday.
