Away Game vs Laney College Eagles 10/27/2010 Game 2

Game 2:  Laney to serve.  We let one fall at the net, 0-1.  We let a net runner dribble in, 0-2.  Megan gets one in the middle, 1-2.  Just looking at each other on the back row and one falls in, 1-3.  Laney serves net, 2-3 with K9 to serve.  It goes wide, 2-4.  Another bad serve receive, 2-5.  Hailey gets one from the back row, 3-5 with Megan to serve.  Hailey gets a block on an overpass, 4-5.  Net serve, 4-6.  Hammertime rips one in the middle, 5-6 with Judy in to serve.  Another missed serve, 5-7.  Hailey gets caught in the net, 5-8.  An overpass by Judy falls in for a point, 6-8 with Alisha to serve.  Laney gets one over the block and on the line, 6-9.  Hailey gets a dink to fall, 7-9 and she gets the serve.  K9 gets one on an angle shot, 8-9.  Megan gets a solo stuff and it's 9 all as Laney calls for a timeout.  Hailey serving as the action resumes.  Laney gets one off our block, 9-10.  K9 gets one down, 10-10 with Taylor to serve.  Brit gets a block, 11-10.  Laney gets another one off our block, 11-11.  Megan hits long, 11-12.  They get another one off our block, 11-13.  Hailey hits long from the back row, 11-14.  Megan and Brit finally get a block to stay in, 12-14 with K9 to serve.  Another swipe off the block for Laney, 12-15.  Need to fix this blocking issue soon.  Alisha hits long to end a long rally, 12-16 and Yuba calls for a timeout to talk it over.  Checking the Giants-Rangers score in the World Series and it's a 2-2 game with Lincecum looking good.  Back to live action, we get a point 13-16 and Megan to serve.  Laney misses one at the net, 14-16.  Laney gets another one off our block, 14-17.  Hailey comes right back with a kill in the middle, 15-17 with Judy in to serve.  Laney gets one in the middle, 15-18.  Alisha hits wide, 15-19.  A bad pass by us and it's 15-20.  Laney serves net, 16-20 with Alisha to serve.  Another dink over the block falls, 16-21.  K9 puts one in the net, 16-22.  Hailey stuffs one off the middles' head, 17-22 with Hailey serving.  Laney in the net, 18-22.  K9 hits long, 18-23.  Laney gets one deep on the endline, 18-24.  And Laney finishes it off with a tip over our block for a 18-25 Yuba loss.  Amazing how well teams play when they're at home versus on the road.  Laney is giving us a much tougher battle than anyone anticipated.  Better crank it up for game 3!
