Away Game - Los Medanos - 10/20/2010 Game 3

Game 3: Mustangs will start with the serve.  Megan gets one in the middle to start it off, 1-0 with Taylor to serve.  LM gets a net dribbler, 1-1.  We let a serve go down for an ace, 1-2.  Shanked pass on a dig and it's 1-3.  Defense is looking lost right now, 1-4.  Another bad serve receive, 1-5.  Taylor gets a dink to drop, 2-5 with K9 to serve.  We let another one fall, 2-6.  Brit gets stuffed, 2-7.  Mustangs hit long, 3-7 with Megan to serve.  They get a tip over our block, 3-8.  Out of rotation call on us, 3-9.  Another net dribbler falls in, 3-10.  Hailey stops the bleeding, 4-10 with Judy to serve.  Another one off our block that lands in, 4-11.  Hailey gets a tip to fall, 5-11 with Alisha to serve.  K9 rips one down line, 6-11.  We serve wide, 6-12.  K9 puts one in the net, 6-13.  Hailey hammers one in the middle, 7-13 with Hailey to serve.  We shank a dig, 7-14.  We cannot seem to get a run going.  Taylor gets a dink to fall in, 8-14 with Taylor to serve.  LM shanks a pass, 9-14.  Long rally but we shank a pass to give up the point, 9-15.  K9 hits wide from the right side, 9-16.  Megan puts one in the net, 9-17 and it's timeout 49er's.  Time to focus and get back our mojo here!  Mustangs serve long, 10-17 with K9 to serve.  Hailey gets one from the back row, 11-17.  Confusion on a back row set and nobody gets to it, 11-18.  Megan gets it back 12-18 and she will serve.  LM hits in the net, 13-18.  Brit gets one down, 14-18.  We shank a dig to end a long rally, 14-19.  Hailey gets another dink to fall, 15-19 with Judy to serve.  And she does it again, 16-19.  Alisha hits wide, 16-20.  Need another stop here.  Bad serve receive makes it 16-21 and it's a timeout by Coach Chapman.  Getting low on battery life here so we need to finish this game!  Alisha hits long, 16-22.  LM hits long, 17-22 with Alisha to serve.  We let one fall 17-23.  Hailey gets a block, 18-23 with Hailey to serve.  LM gets one in the middle, 18-24.  K9 puts one in the net and we lose 18-25.  This is really embarassing.  Giving up games due to a bad case of the dum-dums is just not right.  We need to clean it up and get back to business.  Game 4 coming up.
