Home Game vs Alameda 9/29/2010

It's HOT.  Another scorcher day and the gym is sweltering.  We have the College of Alameda in town tonight and this should be a good chance for us to work on some things and focus on getting better. 

Game 1:  Hailey starts it off with a slap down the middle for 1-0 with Judy serving.  Alameda in the net, 2-0.  We hit out, 2-1.  Alameda hits in the net, 3-1 with Deshawna serving.  We let one hit deep, 3-2.  Alameda serves net, 4-2 with Hailey serving.  xx lets one hit the net, 5-2.  Megan finishes one off deep, 6-2.  Ace serve, 7-2.  Taylor misses on a dump attempt, 7-3.  Alamedaserves long, 8-3.  Great save by Deshawna and then a block by Megan and K9, 9-3.  We let one fall, 9-4.  Controversial call on the line, 9-5.  Lift call on Alameda, 10-5 with K9 serving.  Alameda hits in the net, 11-5.  Megan slips one in, 12-5.  Ace Ace Baby by K9, 13-5.  Brit knocks down an overpass, 14-5.  Double call on Alameda, 15-5.  Net hit by Alameda, 16-5.  They hit long on one and it's 17-5 and a timeout on the floor by Alameda. K9 serves one that Alameda can't control, 18-5.  They hit another one in the net, 19-5.  Another Ace!  20-5.  Alameda rolls one off our block, 20-6.  Lift call on K9, 20-7.  Brit gets one down, 21-7 with Megan serving.  Ace! 22-7.  Net serve, 22-8.  In the net call on Hailey, 22-9.  In the net call on Alameda, 23-9 with Judy serving.  Alameda hits one way long, 24-9.  Ace by Judy to finish the game.  Yuba goes up 1-0.

Game 2:  Megan will start us off serving.  Alameda hits net, 1-0.  Brit slaps one down, 2-0.  Alameda shanks a pass out, 3-0.  Hailey sends one down the middle, 4-0.  Alameda passes in the net, 5-0.  They shank another pass, 6-0.  An Ace, 7-0.  Hailey rejects an overpass, 8-0.  Hailey gets called in the net to stop the run, 8-1.  Alameda hits long, 9-1.  Judy to serve.  Alameda tips one in to a hole in the D, 9-2.  Hailey rolls one over the block, 10-2 with Alisha to serve.  K9 swipes one off a block for a kill, 11-2.  We get confused on a pass, 11-3.  K9 hits one in the net, 11-4.  We over pass one and it goes out, 11-5.  K9 rips one down line, 12-5 and Hailey serving.  Ace, 13-5.  Another Ace, 14-5.  Timeout Alameda!  Hailey serving out of the timeout.  Hailey hits one in the net from the back row, 14-6.  Megan gets one deep and it's 15-6 with Taylor serving.  She puts it in the net, 15-7.  Alameda returns the favor, 16-7 with K9 serving.  Alameda gets a dump shot, 16-8.  Alisha hits one down, 17-8 with Megan serving.  Alameda hits one behind the antenna, 18-8.  Ace by Megan, 19-8.  Brit gets a nice cross court shot, 20-8.  Megan lets one go through her fingers, 20-9.  Alamed serves long, 21-9 with Judy to serve.  Ace! 22-9.  Hailey sends a rocket down, 23-9.  Alameda shanks a pass, 24-9.  Hailey and Alisha block one and it's a 25-9 win.  Yuba up 2-0.

Game 3:  Hailey starts things off, 1-0.  We get a dribbler Ace, 2-0.  Hailey with a big stuff, 3-0.  Marissa with a great dig, and Taylor pushes it over, 4-0.  Double call on Alameda, 5-0.  Hailey blocks another one, 6-0.  Alisha gets in on the action, 7-0.  K9 lets one fall deep, 7-1.  Hailey slaps down a bullet, and Alisha to serve, 8-1.  Ace, 9-1.  Alameda puts one in the net, 10-1.  Taylor slaps one down, 11-1.  Alameda puts another pass in the net, 12-1.  Alisha gets an Ace, 13-1.  Alameda hits wide, 14-1.  K9 gets one with the left hand, 15-1.  Alameda hits another one in the net, 16-1.  Another Ace by Alisha, 17-1.  After a long serve run Alisha puts one in the net, 17-2.  K9 gets one as Alameda is in the net, 18-2.  Hailey serves one in the net, 18-3.  K9 slaps one down!, 19-3 with Taylor serving.  K9 with a block kill, 20-3.  Megan can't quite get one over, 20-4.  Alameda serves long, 21-4 with K9 serving.  Alameda hits it in the net, 22-4.  They can't hold the pass, 23-4.  Alameda gets one to go down deep, 23-5.  They then serve it in the net, 24-5 with Megan serving.  Alameda hits long and this game is over, 25-5. 

We are out of here looking for some AC!
