Home Game vs Solano College 10 Nov 2010 Game 2

Game 2:  Solano will start with the serve.  We let them start off with an ace, 0-1.  And another one, 0-2.  And there is the 3rd one, 0-3.  A long rally finally won by Solano, 0-4 and the gym has gone very silent.  Net serve, 1-4 with Taylor to the line.  An overpass gets slapped back on us, 1-5.  Brit stuffs one back, 2-5 with K9 to serve.  Net serve, 2-6.  This is getting ugly.  An overpass by us and Solano gets a point, 2-7.  Alisha hits the net, 2-8.  Another ace served up by Solano, 2-9.  Solano gets a tip to fall, 2-10.  Net serve by Solano, 3-10 with Megan to the line.  Solano tees off on one, 3-11.  A long rally goes Solano's way, 3-12 and Chappy calls a timeout.  We are slow and just flat out being undone by the aggressiveness on the other side right now.  We put one in the net, 3-13.  Solano gets one off the block, 3-14.  K9 gets a roll shot over the block from the back row, 4-14 with Judy to serve.  Falcons get another one down, 4-15.  Hailey slaps one down, 5-15 Alisha to serve.  Hailey backhands one down, 6-15.  Solano hits long, 7-15.  Solano gets one off the block, 7-16.  K9 rips one down line with authority, 8-16 with Hailey to serve.  We let one go in the deep corner, 8-17.  Falcons put one in the net, 9-17 with Taylor to serve.  We put one in the net, 9-18.  Brit slaps one from the left side, 10-18 with K9 to serve.  Megan gets a big block, 11-18.  We let one fall in front of the block, 11-19.  Alisha gets one in, 12-19 with Megan to serve.  Falcons hit long, 13-19.  Net serve, 13-20.  Alisha gets one right on the back line, 14-20 with Judy to serve.  Hailey and Taylor stuff one back, 15-20.  At least we're fighting for it.  Hailey with a smackdown in the middle, 16-20.  Timeout Falcons!  Come on niner's, let's get this thing.  A couple of great saves and Hailey finishes it off, 17-20.  We let one just fall down, 17-21.  Hailey gets it right back, 18-21 with Alisha to serve.  Solano puts it in the net, 19-21 and another timeout for the Falcons!  We hit one long after a long rally, 19-22.  Alisha rips one from the back row, 20-22 with Hailey to serve.  Net serve, 20-23.  Timeout Yuba, there is no reason for all of these missed serves at this level.  We have to improve on this.  K9 gets one with the left hand, 21-23 with Taylor to serve.  Solano rips one in the middle, 21-24.  Once again a bad serve receive cost us a game, 21-25 for a loss in game 2.  Moving on to game 3.
